Peach Avalon Pride fruit trees – “as featured on Gardener’s World”, this outstanding new Peach variety represents the biggest advancement in peach breeding for many years as it has very high resistance to damaging leaf curl disease. So far all trees grown on our nursery have been completely disease free. Trees are self fertile with pretty pink flowers and bear delicious juicy large fruits from early August. Yellow flesh with a prominent red blush on the skin. Avalon Pride is a self fertile Peach but like all other Peaches they do flower very early so hand pollinate the flowers with a soft brush to aid the pollination. Protection from frosts when in blossom is essential. This Peach would be our recommended variety for any garden.
