Repair Cafes

What is a Repair Cafe

A Repair Cafe is the place where broken items can be taken and repaired or advice given. Most Repair Cafe will try and repair everthing from broken chairs to vaccum cleaners, from children’s toys to patching an old pair of jeans.

Most are run by volunteers, usually there’s no charge but may ask for donations so that they can keep the Repair Cafe going. Tea and homemade cakes are usually available and you’ll be assured a very warm welcome.

Our Vision & Mission

Our Mission
GreenHeal empowers the communities of Midhurst and the surrounding villages to reduce carbon emissions and protect and restore nature. We work with local people, schools, landowners, and organisations to deliver practical projects that improve our buildings, transport, landscapes, and everyday choices, helping our community to move toward truly sustainable living.

Our Vision
A thriving, climate-resilient Midhurst, Easebourne and Lodsworth area that reaches carbon neutrality as quickly as possible—reflecting the IPCC’s call to halve global emissions by 2030—and where nature is restored and protected for future generations.

Our Charitable Purpose
To advance environmental protection, education, and community development related to climate change and biodiversity loss, for the benefit of residents and the wider public in and around the Midhurst area.
